Brilliantly and boldly frames the importance of masculine/feminine polarity in intimacy.   

“Mating in Captivity: unlocking erotic intelligence” by Esther Perel. Superbly insightful.  European born, a NYC couples and family therapist. Her euro/american voice speaks to today's modern couple on the challenges – and solutions – of how to keep love erotic.  

“The Erotic Mind” by Jack Morin.  A fascinating and compelling exploration into Arousal... and what makes us tick. A bit dense but rewarding read. 

“Arousal: The Secret Logic to Sexual Fantasy” by Dr Michael Bader.  Fascinating look at the hows and whys of sexual arousal.  His most recent book, “Male Sexuality.”

Sex expert/author: Ian Kerner.  Fun, clear, very useful information: “She Comes First.”  “He Comes Next”

 “Guide to Getting It On” by Paul Joannides.  Comprehensive, the ultimate “how to.”  

“Libido Medicine: where sex, science and spirit meet.” Isa Magdelena. Educator/Author.Born in Holland, now lives and works in New Mexico. World renown erotic touch instructor.   

“The Joy of Sex, The Adventurous Lover.” A great pocket guide with handy lightly-pushing-the-boundary tips.

The Art of Kissing by William Cane.    I love this book.  The site has some good info but unfortunately it looks geared more to young adults. Yoo hoo, Bill, adults need to be reminded kissing is one of the most reliable routes to profound pleasure. 

“Eros Ascending” by John Maxwell Taylor. Intelligent study of sacred sexuality, bliss and sexuality energy.  Short chapters of 1-3 pages make this very accessible. To be frank, I was surprised how sweepingly impressive this work is. 

Scientific American Mind: superb articles on the biology of human behavior.  Available for worldwide delivery. Published 6 times a year.

 THE PROVOCATIVE

 “Ethical Slut: a roadmap for relationship pioneers” by Dossie Easton and Janet Hardy: a practical, respectful guide to polyamory love.   

“Just F*ck Me! What women want men to know about taking control in the bedroom” by controversial Eve Kingsley.  She's so controversial some think she is a "he." Nonetheless, this book throws down the politically incorrect gauntlet in a way that resonates.  Written for couples, but if you're not in a duo yet, why wait?
